What is the need to know salaries?
IT is a weird place where you are made to believe that your cost to the company depends on your current salary, don’t fall into that trap in the early phase of the job hunt. You bring value to the company and you have sacrificed a lot of things for that. It takes courage to put down the paper in a company where you have spent a few years, so you should reward it with a higher package. These numbers below will help you negotiate with HR, try to get multiple offers if possible. People might say it’s unfair but you do not have to impress others 😛
Don’t go less than 20% from what is quoted below, no matter what your current compensation is. There is no pride in working at Google at 6 LPA, go where your talent is rewarded.

How to crack analytics interviews?

We will always be very true with our advice, we have guided more than 1000 students to analytics domain directly or indirectly. Let’s talk about a few approaches of preparation

Though there are a lot of ways to prepare for these interviews,
-You can learn from youtube videos and create your own path
-You can also enroll in good courses on Udemy, these are way cheaper and will cost you around 500 rupees for one course. Take one course each on SQL, Python, ML, Excel, and statistics. But be very particular about the courses that you choose as there is a high chance of getting lost in this ocean
-DataCamp is good, but it’s very slow and the progress gets lost in the middle of the course. So, if you want to try Data camp then make sure that you complete courses quickly
-AnalyticsVidhya is a very good place to learn about Machine Learning algorithms. Do try their hackathons. A go-to website for ML enthusiast
-Obviously Kaggle, but make sure to be interview ready before going deep into Kaggle competitions

We will suggest you one thing, if you are looking for a change then prepare like a semester exam. In a semester exam, your ability to answer questions might be more important than your knowledge. Read about the interview experiences of other people, types of questions asked for the same role and types of case studies asked.

In the end, your aim should be to crack the interview. If you have already taken up some courses from other institutes then please stick to it, once done, do go through our youtube channel where we have only created videos on topics asked in interviews.
