exponential distribution or skewed disribution, poisson distribution
example of poisson distribution :- probability of virat kohli hitting a six since it would be a rare event occurring in intervals
A non-gaussian distribution unlike gaussian is unbounded.
Technically speaking in non-gaussian distribution – mean, median and mode doesn’t coincide
Non-Gaussian arises when the mean or noise statistics vary with time or any other independent variable
e.g – distributions of income; distributions of house prices; distributions of bets placed on a sporting event. These distributions cannot have negative values and will usually have extended right hand tails.
A non-stationary time series can be said to have non-gaussian distribution because the
mean varies with time.
