How do you determine the number of balls which can fit in a flat ?

Question

Assume anything and everything.
Come up with a number.

You can assume if it’s a 1BHK or 2BHK, diameter of ball, furniture, etc.

Answer ( 1 )

  1. Since the time is 6 minutes, I will take a 1 BHK flat.
The height (till ceiling) is 10 ft or around 3 m
The depth of the flat is 15 ft or around 5 m
The length of the flat is 15 ft or 5 m (Yes, I live in a square-ish flat)

The volume is 75 cubic metres
I take a ball which has a diameter of 8 cm. Its volume is 1/6*pi*(diameter to the power 3)
    512*(10 to the power-6)/2 = 256*(10 to the power-6) cubic meters

    Number of balls (approx)= 10 to the power 6 divided by 3 = 333000
