The probability that the same color marble is drawn twice = 3/4*3/4=9/16
The probability that the same color will be drawn twice, is the sum that red marble has drawn twice + the sum that white marble has drawn twice.
The Probability of getting a red marble = 3/4 *3/4 =9/16
The Probability of getting a white marble = 1/4*1/4 =1/16
Total Probability = 9/16+1/16 =10/16
The probabilty of getting red ball twice = 3/4*3/4 = 9/16
The probability of getting white twice= 1/4*1/4 = 1/16
Adding the probabilities = 10/16
9/16+1/16 =10/16
=5/8
