    The box plot graph gives you the 5-point summary
    It gives you values of the min, max, median, 25th and 75th percentile.
    It also helps you in detecting outliers and gives you the exact row nos
    to which those outliers belong.

      Thanks swap007 for the answer. Could you plz elaborate on how we could get the row number in which outliers are present through Box plot graph.

        By using IQR tecnique in box plot you can find the outlier and can carry out appropriate action.

    Box plot is used to detect outlier. Any data point which is away from lower fence(Q1+1.5) or upper fence(Q3+1.5) is considered to be the outliers. As per the business needs we can either keep or remove the outliers.
