Okay, every time we do analysis for a certain reason. There should be some business logic and understanding behind every analysis, but at some time this analysis will not give proper results as desired. That’s where trial and error comes in an analysis. If your data is not giving proper results, you preprocess them in a variety of ways to derive good facts.
Let’s say after these trial and error, you come to some statements, and you need to test the significance of your statement, whether it is valied or not. For that you do hypothesis testing.
